I’ve been avoiding novels the past few weeks, trying to read only poetry and non-fiction in an effort to continue my studies beyond my MFA. But I won a Tin House drawing for a copy of Jim Krusoe’s Toward You & it arrived halfway through the week, when all I wanted to do was to curl up with a new novel.
Halfway through the book, Officer Steadman says to the main character, “You know, I’ve been thinking that with technology able to create smaller and smaller screens, plus cell phones and text messaging, poems could even be the wave of the future.”
